New members are always welcome so if you are considering joining a choir, we would invite you to try out a couple of our Wednesday evening rehearsals at Newbold College in Binfield. The second rehearsal of every term is an 'Open Rehearsal' so you are especially welcome to try us out on those evenings as we will have extra scores available. Please let us know beforehand if you plan to come.
The choir has different part groups – sopranos 1 and 2, altos 1 and 2, tenors 1 and 2, basses 1 and 2 – and although we are a non-auditioned choir, we can help singers decide which part would be most appropriate for them.
Annual subscription rates for 2024-2025
The month you join the Society determines your subscription rate.
September: Full members - £200; Under 30's - £60
January: Full members - £134; Under 30's - £40
April: Full members - £67; Under 30's - £20
We have an active social events programme for choir members and sometimes family and friends too. The Choir has been on tour abroad several times, most recently to Venice in 2019. We additionally hold singing workshop weekends which are socially enjoyable as well as helping to develop the choral skills of choir members.
Rehearsals are held every Wednesday evening from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm during school term time at:
